Defending key positions on all member states issuing eID and electronic signatures, Estonia’s negotiations influenced the EU digital identity framework. Identity Week Europe 2024 will highlight the extent of Estonia’s reputation as a digitalised nation for over 20 years and how they contribute to the provision of national ID programmes in the panel, ‘Innovation for national ID’ on 12 June.
The session will also study the national ID scheme employed in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
