Representing the use case for electronic signatures within the EU digital wallet, we interviewed Viky Manaila, President of the Cloud Signature Consortium, who will participate in the “Transformative Women” panel at Identity Week. Her top-level perspective on the EU wallet ecosystem, eIDAS compliance and the diversity of experts needed to bring trust services to life. She has encountered many “challenges” of cryptocurrency at the start of her career and delivering fully trusted digital identity for individuals and businesses. Now it is accepted that to build technical services to verify all users, we need diverse thought-leaders and a workforce of technical or non-technical backgrounds.
