60 million taxpayers in Vietnam will have access to a mobile tax application, eTax Mobile with their electronic identification by 2025.
With plans to spread Digital ID across the digital tax management system, the General Department of Taxation will integrate tax codes into the national population database.
E-verification data will be managed on VneID, the national population mobile application. The proposals will improve administrative efficiencies and deliver an identifiable tax population database. By next year, 100% of taxpayers should have linked e-IDs to their tax affairs.
